Valisto is from the second crop of the genetically valuable Uncle Joe van ’t Meulenhof. This talented son of Libero H is a half-brother to top-level horses like Emerald, Diamanthina, and Nixon van ’t Meulenhof. Valisto’s Belgian damline is also highly esteemed. His granddam Promise Me van ’t Paradijs is the full sister of the Grand Prix stallion Manchester van ’t Paradijs, with whom Sadri Fegaier has placed in multiple 1.55m-classes. In the third generation, we find Cartagena Indias Ecaussinnes, a half-sister to several 1.60m-level horses including Agatha d’Ecaussinnes, Venezia d’Ecaussinnes, Kinmar Scarlett, Jheevana Hero Z, and Ultra-Top van ’t Paradijs. This is also the direct family of Mans Thijssen’s Grand Prix showjumper Hello.
