The gelding, born in Holland on 1 May 2007, came to us in summer 2026 because his owner was no longer able to care for him.
With us, he is open and curious, although he does occasionally show the typical pony stubborn streak!
Kobus, known as Kobi, knows all the basics. He is lunged regularly and also works on the double lunge. With his previous owner, he was also driven single a few times.
As Kobi tends to hold his weight easily, we are looking for a home where he will not simply stand in a pasture but will also receive regular physical exercise. He clearly enjoys this as well.
He is in good health and fit. He lives with other horses in a group housing system and goes out to pasture or a paddock every day. He holds a middle-ranking position in the herd.
We are an animal shelter for large animals. All our animals are rehomed following a successful pre-adoption check and in exchange for an adoption fee. The animals can be visited and met at our farm by prior appointment.
