Quentin is a gelding with a show jumping pedigree.  
Height: 16.3 hh  
Age: 16 years  

He is load-friendly (I have always loaded him alone).  
He has four shoes; he needs a bit of trust before going to the blacksmith, as he was always shod in the front, but unfortunately was shod incorrectly at the back once.  

He is very affectionate and would love to have an owner who is only his.  
I acquired him four years ago when my mare was pregnant. Now, however, I want to start training my young horse as well, which leaves me little time to care for all three horses intensively.  
Additionally, I am too heavy for him in the long run.  

He is well-trained in dressage.  
Lateral movements in all three gaits are established; piaffe and passage are trained but only to a basic level, as he tends to become overly excited quickly and often uses these movements during collected work.  

I am a nervous jumper, and he has bravely handled everything with me so far (beginner to elementary level).  
He is familiar with short reins, Tensegrity training, extreme trail, and working equitation, which he enjoys.  

He is a perfectionist and always wants to do everything right.  

He prefers to be ridden subtly but consistently.  

In unfamiliar environments, he is reliable in performance.  
He has never been shown in competitions but has attended many clinics and been at external stables to get used to different situations.  

He enjoys trail riding but can be very eager and needs to trust his rider first.  
He sometimes finds new paths a bit scary; with his previous owner, he mostly rode in the woods, as they had lots of forest nearby.  
Here, the fields stretch as far as the eye can see.  

I wish him a home with lots of heart, understanding, and patience in training.  
A pasture turnout would be ideal, preferably in a gelding herd (he finds mares very attractive).  
Otherwise, a paddock box with plenty of turnout during the day would be perfect.  

He will be sold with accessories included:  
- Saddle size 5/25 with Stübben girth (€3,700)  
- Rugs: size 10/25, 0g with liner system and halter, 200g Walker, 400g including halter, fly sheet with rain cover, regular fly sheet  
- Bridle with Sprenger bit  

Trial ride available for a fee of €30.
