“Goose” – 15.2H 12 year old gray quarter horse gelding. We have a super unique set of horses that we get the privilege to offer to the public this spring! “Goose” came off of a pretty popular producer’s set for an upcoming TV series, which is due to be released at the end of 2023/early 2024. Goose has been used on the sets in the filming, here locally, for the past 6 months. We are NOT allowed to release or share images of these horses on this set, due to respect for the producer’s intellectual property/name/image/publishing rights, this set he was on, is a closed set, on an unreleased series. We wish we could afford to hold all these horses until next spring when this footage has been published and released, it would be so fun to market them with the series out and already been published, but unfortunately we have other sale horses coming in and we just can’t hold them that long. This producer has had absolutely huge success the past several years with his series, this upcoming series …and Goose being shot in scenes for it, will make for some pretty cool bragging rights for his new owner! This series re-tells the story of a western icon. In the director/writer’s bold and popular style, the story will be re-told in an eye-opening, raw,… and much more historically accurate way. It will be pretty special to own and ride a horse that was used in the production of this series, and will make watching the series when it comes out an especially good time, as you hunt for your own horse in the scenes! A couple of these horses are characters themselves, and main actor’s mounts, and will be very prominently seen in the series. This is a very unique opportunity!!! These special horses aren’t available everyday, and they are very rarely advertised, marketed, and offered directly to the public. Goose is a joy to ride, every single person that sits on him thoroughly enjoys him. He is comfy-cozy, extremely easy and uncomplicated. And literally…. next – to – nothing, bothers him. He was used in scenes where there were literal mock bombs going off…taking the whole “Bomb-proof” term, to a whole other level! On top of being as easy to be around, and about as spook proof as one can be – he also has a really nice handle. Goose reins around anywhere you ask him, even with no bridle. He has a nice soft jog, lopes off on either lead, will roll back and lope off, trots/lopes nice circles, rides around with a nice natural level frame, and he has a great stop anytime that you even slightly mention the whoa word. Goose rides out super quiet and relaxed alone (even with his bridle off!) or goes absolutely anywhere that you want to hang out in a group trail ride. This guy is super relaxed, content, and easy to get along with. Goose is up to date on all cares, was just looked over by our vet, has been seen by the chiro, teeth done by our equine dentist, freshly shod this week, and he was just power packed wormed.
