Rusty is 4yr old palomino quarter horse gelding that embodies the kind of practicality, confidence, and reliability that horsemen appreciate.
He's got a good handle neckreins sidepasses rides bridless as well
He has been extensively used around the ranch and has spent countless hours performing real-world jobs that have shaped him into the dependable gelding he is today. From gathering cattle across large pastures to sorting, penning, and loading trucks, Rusty understands a day’s work and handles each task with a willing attitude.
he has been exposed to the fast-paced atmosphere that many horses never experience. Crowds, commotion, tight spaces, and cattle pressure are all familiar territory for him. He moves through it all with a calm, businesslike demeanor, making him a horse you can count on when the job needs done.
In the arena, Rusty rides like a horse with years of experience. He is soft in the bridle, responsive to his rider, and operates with a level of consistency that makes him enjoyable for a wide range of riders. He has a comfortable walk, trot, and lope, carries himself naturally, and transitions smoothly between gaits. Whether you’re loping circles, working on maneuvers, or simply enjoying a ride, he remains steady, collected, and attentive.
Out on the trail, Rusty is the same horse every time. He has been ridden extensively through varying terrain and confidently handles creeks, hills, timber, and whatever else comes his way. He is the type that leaves the barn willingly, covers country with ease, and gives his rider confidence every step of the way.
Rusty has spent lots of time with the kids in the arena and will cross all the obstacles and bridges, crack a bullwhip or shoot a gun, he pays no attention to it he will play bounce ball and proudly carries the flag, he will also pull anything you can hook a rope to from cattle to sleds or whatever
On the ground, Rusty is just as enjoyable as he is under saddle. He is easy to catch, stands quietly for grooming, tacking, bathing, and the farrier, and has the kind of easygoing disposition that makes everyday interactions pleasant. He is respectful, well-mannered, and easy to have around, making him a horse that fits seamlessly into daily life.
With his combination of ranch experience, stockyard seasoning, trail miles, polished arena manners, and exceptional disposition, Rusty offers the versatility, dependability, and maturity that are often sought after but rarely found in such a young gelding. Whether you’re looking for a trustworthy ranch partner, a confident trail companion, or an all-around horse to enjoy for years to come Rusty is the kind that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
