Good horses catch your eye, but great-minded horses keep you coming back and Oliver has both. Oliver is a gorgeous 4-year-old black and white Paint gelding standing 15 hands. With his striking color pattern, shapey correct conformation, and athletic build, Oliver is an eye-catching gelding that naturally gets noticed wherever he goes. Oliver has primarily been used on the trails and in a ranch setting, giving him a solid foundation and plenty of real-world experience. What really sets him apart is his exceptional mind. He has a quiet, kind way of processing through situations and always seems to consider what is in his rider’s best interest. He is willing, thoughtful, and genuinely wants to do his job. Nothing seems to rattle Oliver. He is laid-back, confident, and not easily excited, making him a pleasure to ride in a variety of situations. Whether he is out on the trail, working around the ranch, or experiencing something new, Oliver takes things in stride and gives his rider confidence. Oliver is also a pleasure to have on the ground. He loves people, will meet you at the gate, and handles exceptionally well. He is friendly, gentle, and uncomplicated, making him the kind of horse you enjoy spending time with both in and out of the saddle. Under saddle, Oliver is athletic and has a great handle. He neck reins, takes his leads, side passes, and is soft, supple, and responsive to his rider. He is willing to go wherever you point him and is always ready to take on whatever his rider asks. At just 4 years old, Oliver has a very bright future ahead of him. He has the mind, athletic ability, and willingness to continue developing in whichever direction his new owner chooses. Whether you are looking for a dependable trail partner, a ranch horse, a family horse, or a young gelding to continue developing, Oliver has the versatility to fit the job. Oliver has been an absolute joy to have in our program, and we are confident that his new owners will quickly understand why we have enjoyed him so much. He is the kind of horse that makes you feel fortunate to own him.
